Now, I know to those of you who have yet to attend college, have never attended college, or have never had to worry about paying for college, this may seem like no big deal. But for Ryan and I... it is a very different story. You see, the amount of student aid we were to be granted by the government for school this year has been pretty much been a life or death situation for the past month or so. (Actually, it has been an issue since Ryan asked my dad for permission to marry me last summer. But that's one long story I do not have enough time to tell right now. As soon as I have time, however, I will have to post about it... because it is actually quite funny if you know my father.)
Anyways... the point I was trying to make is... although we don't have enough money to buy a Corvette like Ryan has been talking about all summer, and although we definitely will not be staying in any five star hotels while we travel abroad, we will have enough money to curb the fact that neither of us will be able to have a job while we live in Sweden this year. Or, in the words of my dear husband, "WE WON'T HAVE TO EAT CANNED SALMON EVERY NIGHT IN SWEDEN!"
And that is something I will be thanking God for everyday we are there and for many more days to come.
